Thank you to Sarah Lauch, founder of the Live Like Roo Foundation, for having us on again to dive a little into Illinois becoming recreationally legal on January 1, 2020, and what that will look like at first.
We began our company in Chicago when it was only a medical-only state and have only seen the use of CBD for people and pets grow. Since we started in the pet industry 10+ years ago, there has definitely been a huge shift upwards in the number of pet stores carrying not only CBD products, but more holistic products overall. While visiting pet stores in Chicago last month compared to June, the uptick was very noticeable. Pet parents are looking for ways to help their pets safely and naturally and are reading label ingredients more now than ever.
